Towson University is pleased to continue a merit scholarship program for new undergraduate international students. The scholarships are for students who demonstrate a strong record of academic achievement and proficient English skills.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be an international (F-1) undergraduate student.
  • Must have cumulative grade point average of 3.25 or equivalent when converted to the U.S. 4-point scale.
  • Must have a minimum TOEFL score of 550 PBT/213 CBT/77 IBT; ELTS score of 6 or SAT Verbal score of 500. Native English speakers and transfer students with a grade “B” or better in college-level English composition from a native English-speaking school.
