Description

Ball State University (BSU) is a doctoral institution located in Muncie, Indiana, a Midwestern city of 80,000 one hour northeast of Indianpolis. BSU is one of the hidden gems of public education in the U.S. The campus is home to 18,000 students from more than 80 countries. Ball State offers a comprehensive range of academic programs with more than 170 major and minor areas. Ranked the most wired campus in the country by Intel Corporation (in 2006), BSU also has the fifth-rated entrepreneurship program in the nation as rated by U.S. News & world Report; and nationally recongnized architecture, journalism, physics, education and telecommunications programs. Applications can be filed online or by mail. The TOEFL or IELTS is required of all non-native English speakers. Admission for international students is conducted on a rolling basis with a preferred application deadline of January 1 for intended enrollment inlate August.
