Description
The Thouron-University of Pennsylvania Fund for British-American Student Exchange exists for the promotion of better understanding and closer friendship between the people of the United Kingdom and the United States. The Thouron Award provides support for British recipients to attend any of the graduate and professional schools of the University of Pennsylvania.

ELIGIBLITY REQUIREMENTS
- Must be British citizens normally residing in the UK.
- Must have received a UK secondary school education in the UK.
- Must be a graduate of a UK university or due to graduate by summer 2010.
- Must wish to pursue a full-time postgraduate program which is wholly located at the university of Pennsylvania and leads towards a degree or equivalent. Postdoctoral candidates are ineligible unless their proposed study is in a field different from that !
- Must graduate programs require GRE or GMAT scores to be submitted.

- Award Deadline:November 2
- Instructions:Applicants must complete the application materials for Thouron Awards in addition to an application for admission to a graduate program at the University of Pennsylvania. Application deadlines vary by program.
