PROGRAM INFORMATION

Description

Most conservatory Undergraduates pursue a four-year degree program with one of more majors leading to the BAchelor of Music degree. Majors are Offered in performance, music degree. Majors are offered in performance, music education, composition, music history, technology in music and related arts, and jazz studies. The performance Diploma is a four-semester program, offered only in certain performance departments, and is designed for the very small number of gifted performers who have not yet completed the Bachelor of Music or its performance-oriented career. Performance Diploma students may apply to the Bachelor of Music program before the end of the first year of the program. The graduate level Artist Diploma is a fout semester program, offered only in certain performance departments, which is intended for a limited number of exceptionally gifted performers who have completed the Bachelors of Music or the equivalent and who wish to concentrate on private applied study without additional course requirements.
